Leia (aka Mama)

Leia, known by those who love her as “mama”, is the sanctuary’s longest resident. But despite being with us for well over a year now, this lovely girl has been a good sport. She is often the first dog that many new dogs are paired with – and has shared her room with plenty of doggie friends that have come and gone. True to her nickname, she has also been surrogate mother to orphaned pups that we’ve brought out of the shelter. She is spirited and feisty, but a sweetheart through and through and loves nothing more than cuddles and kisses from her favorite person. She has watched so many dogs come and go. Please consider adopting Mama so it can finally be her turn to get a home and family of her own. She is about 3 years old, current on shots and spayed.
